Grad School Application Resources

Here’s a Google Sheet that I used when I applied to grad schools, it contains some basic information about each program (the stipend is included where I have access): click here.

Some thoughts and advice:

  1. Personally, I do not believe in applying to “safety schools” for several reasons. First, you want to go to a grad school where you can see yourself thriving and be happy – and most “safety schools” that you are considering applying to probably do not satisfy either of those criteria. Second, there’s no shame if you didn’t get in the first get-go. Ask your undergrad PI if you can work for them for a year, look for some internships, or pursue a passion project. All of these will add to your resume and increase your chances the second time around!
